10/21 Former House - approximately 15 metres to North-east of Squire Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, now agricultural store. Early Cl7, partly rebuilt and eaves raised in mid-to-late C19. Timber framed with wattle and daub and red brick infil panels, and coursed limestone rubble plinth; rebuilt to South in coursed and roughly squared limestone; slate roof. 3 framed bays, aligned East-west. Large coursed limestone rubble integral end-stack to West. 2 storeys. South front: square panels, 3 up to C17 wall plate (eaves raised with additional panel probably in the mid-to-late C19). South front: 3 windows; 2-light C19 wooden casements, segmental-headed on ground floor; boarded door between first and second windows from left; truss exposed in gable-end to East. Interior: collar and tie-beam trusses with queen-struts and V-struts; timber framed square-panelled cross-walls. Squire Farmhouse is not included in this list.
