Description

The gates and gate piers to The Quarry in Shrewsbury were built around 1880. They feature cast- and wrought-iron gates alongside stone piers. The piers are designed with moulded panels and topped with pyramidal copings. There are three gates that showcase ornate cast- and wrought-iron decoration, including octagonal shafts with twisted finials and the Salop arms.
