Description
This is a sundial located 12 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Edith in Eaton Under Heywood. It dates from the early 18th century and features a brass dial that is dated 1721, which is set on a moulded stone cap. The sundial stands on a square-section pedestal that is raised on three round steps. At the time of review, the gnomon was missing.
