Description

This sundial, located in St Edmund's Churchyard, dates from the 18th century and is made of gritstone. It features three circular stone steps that support an octagonal column, which has a slight curve known as entasis, resting on a square base. The column is topped with a moulded capital, which holds a brass plate and gnomon. The sundial is situated 15 yards south of the church.
