Description
This sundial, made of limestone, is located approximately 2 meters south-west of the nave of the Church of St. Michael in Edgton. It features a circular column with a moulded plinth and capping, set on a rectangular chamfered base. The sundial includes a brass gnomon that displays the royal coat-of-arms from the reign of George II, along with the date 1749 inscribed on it.
