Description

This sundial, located approximately 15 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Michael, is dated to 1712. It is made of limestone and features a vase-shaped baluster with a moulded plinth and capital, set on two circular steps. Although the brass plate and gnomon are now missing, it is known that the sundial originally bore the inscription "SOLI DEO GLORIA," along with the date 1712 and the names of the churchwardens from that year, John Hayward and Thomas Tannat.
