Description
The Hall is a farmhouse dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It features a timber-frame and plaster construction, with areas of painted brick, and has a steeply-pitched roof made of graduated Welsh slate, gabled to the right. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range that includes 19th-century windows on the left and 20th-century two-light casements. The eaves have plastered soffits. The central entrance has a 20th-century half-glazed door set within a 19th-century gabled porch that has ornamental fishscale bargeboards, flanked by 19th-century three-light casements. The left side of the building features 19th and 20th-century casements. There are timber-framed outshuts on the right side and at the rear. Inside, the farmhouse has stop-chamfered ceiling beams, exposed timber-framing, and a blocked ogee-headed doorway.
