Description

This is a headstone located 2 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Michael in Munslow. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The headstone features a carved top and a raised border decorated with fleur-de-lys. It commemorates John, the son of Thomas and Sarah Child, who died in 1747. There is also a later inscription on the reverse side, dated 1819.
