Description
This is an early 17th-century house with linked outbuildings, situated in Munslow. The building is constructed of stone rubble, with timber-framed gables, and has an old tile and concrete interlocking tile roof. A large stone ridge stack with a brick shaft is prominent. The plan is L-shaped, incorporating a cross wing.
The north-west front features a projecting gable to the left, with a 20th-century casement window on the first floor, a two-light casement in the gable, and a ground-floor window. A central, earlier range is of single storey and attic, with two small ground-floor windows, one in a deep chamfered reveal. This section features two timber-framed gables: one has a later three-light casement, and the other has a boarded loft door at the head of stone steps. A wing extends to the right as an outbuilding, with a boarded door and an open bay to the far right. A projecting plain gable sits to the right, with two thin ventilation slits, boarded loft openings, and boarded doors on its return sides. The interior has not been inspected.
