4/122 Smith memorial - approximately 3 metres to south of nave of Church of St John the Baptist

Chest tomb. Dated 1798. Sandstone ashlar. Moulded plinth, fluted corner piers, rectangular side panels with flanking oval rosettes, circular end panels with central rosettes, moulded cornice to chamfered top. Inscribed: "Here rest the Remains of/Mr ROBERT SMITH of/Acton Reynold who departed this life/April 27th MDCCXCVIII Aged 19".
