Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located approximately 3 meters northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary and St Andrew, dating from around 1830. It is made of sandstone and features a rectangular shape. The tomb has a moulded plinth and capping, with a chamfered top ledger and reeded corner pilasters. There are recessed semi-circular inscription panels on the north and south sides, and raised oval inscription panels on the east and west sides, which were indecipherable at the time of the last survey in 1985.
