Description

This is a pump located approximately 8 metres to the south-west of Yew Tree Cottage in Upper Cound. It dates from the mid- to late 19th century and is made of painted cast iron. The pump features a fluted shaft with a splayed spout, a fluted top, a fluted domed cap with a spike finial, and a curved handle. It also has a cast maker's plate. The pump is included in the listing for its group value.
