Description
This agricultural outbuilding, located approximately 20 meters south of the Church of St. Peter, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone minor alterations since then. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and is weatherboarded on the west gable end, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The framing consists of square and rectangular panels, with three panels extending from the cill to the wall plate. On the north side, there is a 20th-century centre-hung casement window to the left of center and another window in a panel of framing to the right. Access is provided through a stable door located at the rear. Inside, the building has a single-purlin roof divided into two bays, supported by collar and tie beam end trusses and a central king-strut truss with jowled wall posts. There is also a continuous loft. This building is included for its group value with the nearby church.
