Description

This is a terrace of nine houses, numbers 1 to 9, dating to around 1840. They are located on Hollybush Road in Bridgnorth, forming a group with numbers 20 to 39 on Railway Street. The houses are built of red brick and have tiled roofs. Numbers 1 to 7 are built in steps, rising above the road. Each house features a sash window and a moulded wooden doorcase, topped with a stone cornice hood. Tall brick stacks are a prominent feature, with shafts having corbelled caps and spirally grooved detailing.
