  1. Early C19. Painted brick; 2 storeys; 5 casement windows; moulded wood doorcase with cornice hood; plain gable on left-hand side; old and new tiles. Returned side to East Castle street has sash and casement windows, the lower with glazing bars and a moulded wood pilaster doorcase with small cornice hood. Shakespeare Hotel forms a group with Nos 1 to 5 (consec) EAST CASTLE STREET
