Description

A terrace of nine houses, numbers 165 to 181, built around 1845. The houses are constructed of brick with rendered ground floors, featuring channelled rustication. Each house is three stories high and two windows wide, with an entrance door positioned to the right. Most windows are glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads, although those in houses 169 to 181 have been set within later rendered surrounds. Almost all houses retain original entrance doors, except for numbers 171 and 181. The interiors were not inspected. The terrace has cast-iron area railings and first-floor cast-iron balconies, and is included in the listing due to its completeness as a group.
