Description
This sundial, dating from around 1840, is located approximately 12 metres southwest of Acton Reynald School. It is made of red sandstone and features a square plinth with panelled sides and a chamfered top. The square dial block has moulded corners and circular panelled sides, with one side displaying a carved raven. The circular copper dial plate includes a gnomon and is inscribed with the Corbet coat of arms and the motto "DEUS PASCIT CORVOS," along with the maker's details: "ADAMS/FLEET STREET/LONDON." The sundial is included for its group value.
