9/116 L-shaped range of farm- - buildings approximately 15m north-east of Olde Farmhouse

GV II

Barn and cow house. C17 with later alterations. Timber framed, eastern barn weatherboarded with slate roof; cow house on north with red brick infill to ground floor and weatherboarding above, plain tile roof. Ranged in an L-shape around north and east sides of farmyard of Olde Farmhouse (q.v.). East barn: 2 levels, apparently of 4 framed bays, wide double doors to first bay from north and 4 eaves hatches to left; one boarded door to left with one ventilated opening also to left and 2 to right. North cow house: also on 2 levels and apparently of 5 framed bays; framing: 2 square panels from cill to girding beam, weatherboarded above; double doors to left and boarded door with shaped head roughly to centre; scattered ventilated openings and fixed-light windows to ground floor with gabled eaves dormers to left of centre and right. Interior: inspection not possible at time of re-survey (1985).
