Description

This cowhouse, located approximately 15 metres north-west of Bank Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It features a weatherboarded timber frame set on an uncoursed limestone rubble plinth, topped with a corrugated iron roof that has replaced the original thatch. On the north side, there are three ventilated openings positioned to the left, right, and centre. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have square panelled timber framing and a four-bay roof constructed with Queen struts and through purlins.
