Description

This is a chest tomb located 2 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Peter, dating from the early 19th century. It features a flat lid with fluted edges and plain panels. The corner piers are horizontally fluted, and there is a plain plinth that is recessed below the panels. The tomb commemorates Sarah, the wife of George Webster, who died on July 1, and also commemorates George Webster. It is included for its group value.
