Description
This is a chest tomb located approximately 5 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Peter, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a plain plinth. The tomb has recessed panels that contain eroded inscriptions, and it is supported by vertically beaded and recessed panelled corner piers. The lid of the tomb has a shallow pediment with fluted infill, although the inscription is now illegible. This memorial is included for its group value with the church.
