Description

Packhorse Bridge is a small packhorse bridge, now serving as a footbridge over Eaton Brook, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and ashlar. The bridge features a single segmental arch made of dressed stone voussoirs, with the center of the arch replaced by rubble stone set on edge. There are no parapets. The bridge is approximately 1.5 metres wide and has a span of about 4 metres, with ashlar splayed abutments.
