House. Mid-C17. Timber-framed with painted brick nogging on painted brick and dressed sandstone plinth. Machine tile roof. Framing: small square panels (four from sole plate to wall plate) with short straight corner braces. End baffle-entry plan of two framed bays. Two storeys over basement. Plinth. Integral brick end stack to left and integral brick end stack to right behind ridge. Three-window front; C20 two-and 3-light diamond-leaded wooden casements (two pairs of oriels to left supported on brackets). Ground floor, hipped-roofed canted bay to right with small-paned windows. Small basement window off-centre to left. C19 four-panelled door (lower raised and fielded and upper glazed with C20 diamond leading) between first and second windows from right. Four steps up to C20 gabled wooden porch. Three steps up to boarded door to far left. Left-hand gable end has exposed collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts. Interior not inspected.
