Description
Ye Hundred House is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is timber framed with painted brick nogging set on a roughly dressed red sandstone plinth, topped with a plain tile roof. The framing features small square and rectangular panels, with three panels extending from the sole plate to the wall plate, and long straight tension braces. The house has a baffle-entry plan consisting of three framed bays and is one storey high with an attic. There is an off-centre brick ridge stack located to the right. The front has three restored timber-framed gabled eaves dormers, each with two-light wooden casements, and a four-window arrangement featuring 19th or 20th century one-, two-, and three-light wooden casements. The boarded door is off-centre to the right and is sheltered by a 20th century timber framed gabled porch. The collar and tie-beam end trusses include queen struts and V-struts. The interior has not been inspected.
