Description

This memorial is an 8-metre south of the nave of the Church of St Michael in Munslow. It is a raised slab tomb dating from the late 18th century. The tomb is made of ashlar stone with a brick plinth. It features an inscribed slab with moulded edges, which is set on four courses of brick. The memorial commemorates Reverend W. Read, who died in 1771, and Francis William Read, who served as the Rector of Munslow from 1749 to 1761.
