Description
141A Corve Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, with some areas rendered, and features a Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. It stands three stories high and has a three-window range. The early 19th-century windows are 2/2 sashes set in moulded cases, positioned under segmental arches. There is a storey band, and similar window styles are found under timber lintels. Above the storey band, the brickwork is from the 19th century, and the eaves are corbelled in brick.
The central entrance features a six-fielded-panel door in a plain case, with an overlight and a moulded architrave. It is topped by a stone moulded flat hood supported by fluted consoles. On either side of the door are 19th-century canted bays that contain 1/1, 2/2, and 1/1 sashes, with the render also including a storey band. At the rear, there is a wing that has 6/6 sashes, casements, a six-panel door with an overlight, and a plank door.
