Description
This building consists of a barn, granary, and stables located about 20 metres north-west of Lower Broadmeadow Farmhouse. It dates from the late 17th century and mid-19th century, constructed from rubble with a stone slate roof. The barn features four roof bays and has a threshing floor located in the bay south-west of the centre. The south-west stable has two bays, while the north-east section contains a two-bay granary situated above a cart shed. The barn has two storeys with ventilation slits, and the stables on the left have two entries with a loft entry above that has a raked top. The granary on the right has a flight of stone steps leading up to a first-floor door and two cart entries on the gable end. This building is included for its group value.
