2/77 Service block approximately 6 m to north of Bernithan Court

GV II

Detached service block of large house. C17, altered. Painted brick, tiled hipped roof. Rectangular in plan with central through-passage. Two storeys, C20 inserted metal casements, two to north-east return with traces of hoodmould to former windows on ground floor. Interior: North room contains exposed chamfered ceiling beams. Linked to Bernithan Court by 12 foot wall (qv) at north-west and south-east ends forming a small yard entered by segmental headed doorways.
