Description
The Roberts Memorial, located approximately 2 meters south of the nave of the Church of St John the Baptist, is a chest tomb dating from 1817. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a rectangular plan with a moulded plinth and capping. The upper surface is pyramidal, and the sides taper down to inscription panels that have fielded surrounds. The memorial commemorates Sarah Roberts and her sister Jane Seward.
