Description

A range of barns, dating from the 15th century with extensions in the 17th century, stands approximately 30 metres northwest of The Tank House at Weston Court Farmhouse. The barns are timber-framed, featuring some woven infill panels, predominantly weatherboard cladding, and a corrugated metal roof. The original three-bay cruck barn is aligned northwest/southeast, with a further four bays added to the southeast end during the 17th century. The cruck barn has angled blades on its central trusses, braced to the collar. The later addition incorporates inclined strut trusses.
