Description
The Stalls is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. The building is one rood deep in plan and features an added outshut to the rear, with an entry on the south gable and a rear lateral stack located south of the center. The house has two storeys and three altered and enlarged openings that contain glazing bar casement windows, two of which are on the ground floor. The south gable shows traces of a blocked three-light stone mullioned window. There is also a 20th-century partly-glazed door with a canopy supported on brackets. The east face of the building has traces of a blocked doorway.
