Description
Kettle House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble gritstone and features quoins, a coped gable at the north end, intermediate and south end ridge stacks, and a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a single storey offshoot at the rear. It has two bays with shallow chamfered mullioned windows that contain 20th-century casements. There is a doorway at the north end with a 20th-century glazed door beneath a heavy lintel, and a later doorway that has been enclosed by a 20th-century glazed extension at the south end. Additionally, there is a small fire window located in the center of the elevation.
