Description
The cider house and stables, located about 25 yards north-east of Underhill, likely date from the 18th century. The structure features a sandstone rubble plinth, a timber frame with brick infill and weatherboards, and a tiled roof. It consists of four bays that are aligned roughly east to west.
On the south elevation, there are two ground-floor openings, one to the left of center and one on the right side, each with a ledged door on the left. The first floor has two openings in the panels, with weatherboards on the right side. The west gable includes an oak-mullioned two-light window and a ledged door at the top of stone stairs. The frame is constructed with regular square panels, three high from the plinth to the wall-plate, and features angle struts from the corners and central side posts to the wall-plate.
