Description
The churchyard cross, located about 15 yards north of the north-west window of the nave of the Church of SS Mary and Thomas a Becket, is a Grade II listed structure. It likely dates from the 14th century and was restored in the early 20th century. The cross is made of sandstone ashlar and features three restored steps. Its base is a cube measuring approximately 2 feet 6 inches, with chamfered upper corners and a round-headed niche on the west side. The shaft and base were added in the 20th century.
