Description

This is a group of four chest tombs located approximately 1 meter south of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew. They date from the late 18th century and early 19th century and are made of sandstone ashlar. Each tomb has a rectangular plan, featuring a moulded plinth and capping, with balusters on either side of fielded inscription panels. One of the tombs is from the late 18th century and has a scalloped base with concave short sides.
