Description
Nos. 6, 7, and 8 Church Street are cottages that have been converted into shops and dwellings, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of stucco with a Welsh slate roof, featuring a rendered end stack and a brick ridge stack. The buildings rise three storeys and include a cellar, with a three-window range. Number 6 has a 19th-century cross-window and two 6/6 sash windows to the right, all beneath a flat hood supported by brackets. Above, there are 3/6 sash windows with some old glass, also under a flat hood, and pilasters adorn No. 6. The late 19th-century shopfronts have been altered and include overlights above 20th-century doors. Number 8 features a six-panel door with a swagged fanlight and a balustrade with stick balusters above.
