Description

34 and 35 Church Street are early 19th-century houses located in Kington. They are constructed of painted brick with a slate roof and feature a brick end stack. The buildings rise to three storeys and have a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows and a central blind opening beneath gauged brick flat arches. Above, there are 3/6 sashes and another blind opening. The central entrances consist of a four-panel door and, to the left, a 20th-century plank door, both with plain overlights, and are topped by a simple wood flat hood supported by consoles and panelled pilasters. The houses are flanked by 6/6 sashes and are included for their group value.
