Description

The Cider House, located about 15 yards north of The White House, is a cider house that likely dates from the early to mid-18th century. It features a timber-frame construction with weatherboards and a pantiled roof. The building is comprised of two bays aligned east to west. Inside, the western bay contains a complete cider mill, while the press was previously located in the eastern bay. A third bay at the east end has been demolished and replaced by a mid-20th century building with a weatherboarded and corrugated iron roof, which is not considered of special interest.
