Description

The Tithe Barn, now used as garages and stores, along with an adjoining pump house, dates from the late 17th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame and red brick infill, topped with a plain tiled roof and features an off-centre 20th-century brick chimney. There are two blocked entrances on either side of the center and inserted leaded casement windows. To the left of the center, there is a recessed loggia. The rear of the barn has been modified to create three garages, which include various lean-to additions. Attached to the left of the barn is the pump house, built in the early 19th century, which is two stories high and has three 2-light and 3-light casement windows, as well as cross windows, all under segmental heads.
