6/4 Tithe Barn & adjoining pump house to rear of Donnington - Hall

GV II

Tithe barn, now garages and stores, and adjoining pump house. Late C17, altered C19 and C20. Timber-framed with red brick infill, plain tiled roof and off- centre C20 brick stack. 2 blocked entrances to either side of centre. Inserted leaded casement windows. Recessed loggia to left of centre. The rear elevation had. been altered and adapted to 3 garages with various lean-to additions. At the left of the barn is the attached pump house: early C19 of 2 storeys with three 2-light and 3-light casement and cross windows under segmental heads. (RCHM, Herefordshire, Vol II, 1932).
