SELLACK CP SO 52 NW 3/147 Pengethley Hotel

House, now hotel. Circa 1823. Squared sandstone finished with render, hipped Welsh slate roof, and brick ridge stacks. Square plan with rectangular service wing attached to east side of north entrance front. Cellar and two storeys. North elevation has three windows, glazing bar sashes with hood- moulds. Central porch with square piers and cornice, fanlight with 3-centred head and side glazing. Six-panelled door. Moulded eaves cornice. West elevation has two full-height canted bays. Interior has two-flight open well staircase having enriched balusters alternating with stick balusters, both of cast iron. Lower two-storey service wing to east has 2-light case- ments to first floor and glazing bar sashes to ground floor.
