The Queen Catherine Hotel is a late 18th century building that was originally two houses and is now a hotel. It features ashlar and coursed squared stone with a Welsh slate roof. The structure has two storeys and comprises eight bays. In the fourth bay, there is a wide 20th century glazed door with sidelights, topped by a flat hood. All windows have stone sills and lintels, with the windows in the four left-hand bays and the ground floor of the fifth bay featuring keystones. To the right of the door is a 16-pane sash window, while the other ground floor windows are sashes with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are 4-pane sash windows. The building has stone coping and an end stack to the left, along with two ridge stacks.
