Description

The Three Tuns Inn is a public house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. At the central bay, there is a doorway with a shaped plinth and a plain stone surround; set back in this doorway is a 20th-century glazed door. Flanking the doorway are 12-pane side-sliding sash windows. To the left of the left-hand bay, there is a small 4-pane fire window. On the first floor, there are three 12-pane side-sliding sash windows, all of which have stone sills and plain lintels. The building also features a shaped kneeler, stone coping, and a brick end stack on the right.
