Description

This is an early 19th-century house and former commercial premises located on the east side of South End in Osmotherley. The building is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It is three storeys high and comprises two bays. The facade features quoins and a plinth, with the ground floor painted. A half-glazed door is positioned to the left, flanked by plate-glass shop windows. To the far right is a boarded door. A band runs along the first floor. The first floor windows are 16-pane sashes, while the second-floor windows are unequally hung 12-pane sashes. All windows are fitted with stone sills and plain lintels. The building has shaped kneelers, a stone coping, and corniced end stacks.
