Description

No. 8 West End is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and features two bays. There are quoins on the right side. The central entrance has a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. On either side of the door, there are 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and plain lintels. On the first floor, there are 20th-century nine-pane casement windows, also with stone sills and plain lintels. The right side has a shaped kneeler and stone coping, and there are stacks at both ends of the building.
