Description

This is a milepost, likely from the late 19th century, made of cast iron. It features an angled top and sides with a curved and angled stem. The raised lettering indicates the distance from Hentland Parish to Ross, stating "ABERGAVE 4 NNY MILES 17 MILES." It is probably the work of Perkins & Bellamy of Ross.
