Stables. c1700. English bond brickwork, ashlar dressings, slate roof. Rectangular plan with wide doorway at eastern end. Two storeys, string course and rusticated quoins. Three windows, central 2-light glazing bar casement to first floor flanked by traces of blocked openings, stone mullioned windows to ground floor flanking square-headed doorway with ledged door. Moulded elliptical-arched doorway to east side, pointed arched window with Y-tracery to first floor, two rows of pigeon holes in gable, central hexagonal clock cupola with ogee capping and weathervane. Interior: six wooden stalls along north side with decorative Tudor arched openings and pandants echoing finial to newel of backstairs at Langstone Court (qv). Splat balusters to dog-leg staircase. Stables form part of north enclosure of garden gates, gate piers and wall enclosing garden qv) to east of Langstone Court. Graded II* on account of interior.
