Description
This description covers a wall and gate piers located about 4 yards north of The Lays Farmhouse. The structure dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It features a sandstone rubble wall that stands approximately 3 to 4 feet high, with brick gate piers at both the east and west ends, topped with brick coping. The wall serves to separate the house from the farmyard.
