Description
These cottages, now a house, date from the 17th and 19th centuries. They have a rubble plinth, a timber-frame structure with render, and a hipped plain tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and has a cellar, featuring a three-window range with 20th-century casements that have simple wood hoods on both the ground and first floors.
On the right side, there is brick-on-edge infill at the first floor, a 20th-century dormer, and an early 20th-century three-panel door with a sidelight, all under a simple hood. The left side also has brick-on-edge infill, steps leading to the cellar, and a plank door. At the rear, there is a roughcast parallel range with a hipped plain tile roof, a brick stack, and a roughcast buttress stack, along with 19th and 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
