Description
Patty's Cross Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Hamnish, Leominster. It features a timber-frame structure with render and a plain-tile roof. The cottage has a massive rubble end stack with a bread-oven on the left side. It is a single-storey building with an attic and has a three-window range. The central window is a three-light casement, with a two-light casement in the gable above, flanked by single casements on either side. The entrance is located in a lean-to porch that has a hipped plain tile roof, featuring a 20th-century plank door and two small casements. Most of the windows are from the 18th century, although they have 20th-century glazing. The rear of the cottage has 20th-century fenestration, including a small gable with a two-light casement above a four-light casement that is sheltered by a simple hood. There is also a rendered wing with a two-light casement above a three-light casement, both under simple hoods. The interior has not been inspected.
