Description
Eaton Farmhouse is a farmhouse with an 18th century front, likely built around an earlier core. The ground floor is made of sandstone rubble, while the upper part is roughcast. It has a hipped plain tile roof and brick stacks at the rear. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with 8/8 sash windows, although there is a 20th-century sash window on the right. The entrance is located to the center right and consists of a part-glazed six-panel door beneath a wood open pediment hood supported by brackets and pilasters. To the right of the entrance is a 20th-century sash in a moulded case, and to the left is a 20th-century canted bay window with a combination of 2/2, 6/6, and another 2/2 sash, along with a 20th-century 6/6 sash.
On the left side of the building, there is evidence of timber-framing. The rear wing includes a loft door and a shuttered opening above a plank door, with scattered fenestration. There is a lean-to on the south side with stone steps leading to a plank door and a light. The right side of the building has a tier of 8/8 sash windows, and the rubble wing features 20th-century fenestration and a glazed door. The interior has not been inspected.
